Leading online gaming operator Bet365 has announced that it will be staging the second annual European Championships of Online Poker (ECOOP) this May with qualifying satellites beginning for as little as $2.20.
The ECOOP will run for ten consecutive days with a prize pool of over $3.5 million including a $1.5 million guaranteed main event and span games such as limit and no-limit Texas hold 'em, pot limit Omaha and pot limit Omaha high-low.
The Championships will also offer bracelets for the winners of each event and see points awarded based on players’ finishing positions. The top 100 players will then be qualified for the $50,000 Freeroll game and the chance to be crowned the ECOOP’s Most Valuable Player.
'Set this date firmly in your diary, May 23, as this is the start of the most important ten days of online poker so far this year,” said Martin Willis, Poker Manager for Bet365.
“ECOOP II is your chance to prove yourself in the big game with over $3.5 million up for grabs and a coveted ECOOP bracelet for all event winners.'
Willis stated that Bet365 would be running a number of qualifying satellites for each event at Poker.Bet365.com with buy-ins starting from as low as $2.20 to make sure all of its players had an opportunity to be a part of the drama and excitement of the ECOOP II.
