European Manager from Swedish developer Jadestone tested by leading gambling group

Leading online gambling group Bwin has launched a new Internet fantasy soccer game from Sweden’s Jadestone, European Manager.
Online gamers will now be able to test their international football selection and management skills as the new game allows players to build and manage a team from the best players from Europe’s top leagues.
“This is a major extension of our market,” said Tobias Nissen, Business Development Director for Jadestone.
“Betting and gambling operators have a large audience of avid sports fans so it is a natural evolution for us to provide this type of fully managed fantasy games to that market. Naturally, we are thrilled to take this important step with Bwin, a true market leader and a long-time valued partner”.
Jadestone stated that European Manager is a trial effort that is being jointly evaluated and that, if successful, it would look to extend the offer possibly with new markets, additional sports or tie-ins with special events.

European Manager opens up four parallel leagues, England’s Premier League, Italy’s La Liga, Spain’s Serie A and Germany’s Bundesliga, and is available in seven languages including English, German, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Polish and Portuguese.
