Europe’s largest poker festival has come to London’s Leicester Square with over 20,000 people expected to attend.

Leading poker publication Bluff Europe has announced that the fourth annual Poker In The Park festival will open today from London’s Leicester Square with upwards of 20,000 people expected to attend over the event’s two-day run.
Poker In The Park is Europe’s largest annual free poker event and is set to get underway at 4pm today with Liv Boeree, the recent winner of the San Remo stop of the European Poker Tour, set to open proceedings.
One of the main attractions is sure to be the attendance of five-time heavyweight boxing champion Evander ‘Real Deal’ Holyfield and he will be on-hand to help demonstrate the software behind online poker site RealDealPoker.com, which replicates a live game by replacing the customary random number generator with actual cards. In addition, the man who once knocked out Mike Tyson is also set to take on one lucky qualifier tonight from 7.30pm in a special one-off live game featuring a €2,300 prize pool.
Poker In The Park also has a pair of ‘poker arenas’, the Bodog Poker Dome, which features free hourly turbo sit-and-go tournaments at eight tables accompanied by the Bodog Girls, and the Red Hot Poker Plex where attendees can win the keys to a Ferrari for a day.
The event’s lecture theatre, which is being sponsored by UniBet.com, includes presentations by Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott, John Tabatabai, Nik Wealthall, Neil Channing and Nik Persaud. Ulliot is also using Poker In The Park to premiere a new tell-all book tomorrow and guests can turn up to get their copy signed by the man himself.
Poker In The Park also features the Nuts Magazine Poker And Photo Marquee, the Bluff Europe Heads-Up Challenge, the GCasino Marquee, Bidibot Live Auction Tent, Victory Poker Wet ‘N’ Wild Dunk Poker, the Win Me A Seat Oasis and the Poker Superstore Marquee.
