With the 91st season of the National Football League (NFL) set to begin in just over one week, the online sportsbook at Intertops.com has the Indianapolis Colts as its favourite to win next February’s Super Bowl XLV.
The Kahnawake-licensed site currently shows last season’s beaten Super Bowl side at odds of 8/1 to triumph this time around and take home the coveted Vince Lombardi Trophy ahead of the reigning champion New Orleans Saints at 9/1.
“The Saints have the momentum from last year’s Super Bowl win but the Colts won 14 games for only two losses last season and they’re starting this season with a deep receiving corps and a solid running duo,” read a statement from Intertops.com.

The action is set to get underway on September 9 from the Louisiana Superdome as the New Orleans Saints take on the Minnesota Vikings. The season will then conclude on February 6 with the top team from the American Football Conference (AFC) facing the winner of the National Football Conference (NFC) at Super Bowl XLV from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
