Scott will be seen reporting from the High Stakes Poker suite, interviewing players about strategy and table dynamics while giving viewers first-hand feedback from players after significant hands.
GSN revealed that it would lead up to the new season of High Stakes Poker with its eight-hour I Love Poker marathon on Sunday. This will see eight of the best one-hour episodes from the previous seasons broadcast beginning from noon.
“New co-host Kara Scott is well-known to European audiences as a poker player and journalist, having been the television host of the European Poker Tour in 2007 and 2008,” read a statement from GSN.
“As a player, Scott was the only woman to finish in the money in both the 2008 and 2009 World Series Of Poker main events and only the second woman in history to do so in back-to-back years. She also finished second in the 2009 Irish Open in Dublin.”
