3rd July, 2009 (London, UK) – Derek Kelly, the founder of the infamous Gutshot Club in London and the man behind Ireland’s new Voodoo Card Club, is the newest addition to the speaker line-up at Poker in the Park – August 13 & 14, 2009 in Leicester Square, London.
Kelly will be on site to deliver a 30 minute lecture about the growth of modern poker in Britain and Ireland and will also be signing copies of his latest book ‘Tales of a Degenerate Poker Player’. Kelly’s unique role in the history of poker in the UK and Ireland will be nostalgic for long-time UK players. It will also enlighten new enthusiasts as to why UK poker is what it is today.
Kelly joins a number of high-profile names in the poker world already attending Poker in the Park. So far pros lecturing include: Neil Channing, Nick Persaud, Ian Frazer, Paul Jackson and Kara Scott.
