My heart says Hatton, my Head says Mayweather.

Good luck to the Hitman, I hope he does do it and prove me wrong.

BBC SPORT | Boxing | Hopkins tips Hatton for victory

"Floyd is considered to be the best fighter in the world, and I echo that. We all know he can fight. But can he still fight like a hungry man?" said Hopkins.

"Because I'm telling you, when that fire's not lit, you can't train the same, you go through the motions, you can't think the same, spiritually you're not the same.

I heard someone speaking on the radio today, that the big gamblers in Vegas, like the mobsters and gangsters etc are backing Mayweather to win. They generally are pretty good at picking the winner in these big fights. However there has been some pretty major upsets lately.

Funny reading the comments posted on that youtube clip about how Kostya was past it and Ricky beat up an old man!

Going into the fight Kostya had just KO'ed Sharmba Mitchell and was regarded as the current pound 4 pound top dog, so I guess the haters always have some excuse when Hatton wins.

They'll have one tonight as well when Ricky wins- of course, Floyd has bad hands

As for people who believe Hatton has no defense, they seriously know fuck all about boxing...

Prediction time! i either look like i know something about boxing or like a total ross! LOL (kidding)

Hatton to win in 9 10 or 11 rounds, my preference is the 11th but he could stop him sooner.

Reasoning....

Mayweather has the skills and the technique to win but he's too scared to punch, since the carlos hernandez fight, if you haven't seen it, he punched hernandez and damaged his hand so bad he dropped to his own knees and took an 8 count, and hasnt punched anyone the same since, his hands are fine now but psychologically hes scared to throw big punches which is why he dances around jabbing all the time.

Mayweather came from retirement to take this fight which is never a good sign, he's done it all, different weights, got everything he wants in life and is drifting towards celebrity/entertainer status

Mayweather has underestimated Hatton, the worst mistake he could make imo

Hatton isnt scared of Mayweather, Mayweather trades on his super confidence to demoralise opponents before they even get close to a ring, Hatton is psyched up for this so much that he appears more confident and thats got Mayweather worried, his psychological weapons have failed.

Hatton is an underdog... Hatton draws strength from adversity, the more people that say he cant do something, the more determined he is to prove them wrong! Before the tsyzu fight even his own fans had doubts, Hatton said he would win, put on the fight of his life and beat the man nobody said he could!

Hatton has more guts...... he'll keep coming forward regardless, i've seen him cut wide open from round 3 and walk through punches to get a job done, he's not the best technical boxer in the world, or even this fight, but if he gets those body shots in early Mayweather will find himself in a horrible place if he cant get away from a head on battle, ask kostya tsyzu, he said he never felt body shots like it in his life and felt continually smothered from start to finish, something that Mayweather didnt enjoy against castillo, which he amazingly won on points when he was a mile behind. Hatton beat castillo very quickly although it was a few years later

The 2 biggest things against Hatton are the ref not allowing infighting and breaking them up too often and cuts...although i think its gonna be too big a fight for the ref to stop it over a cut
