Seems like you can only use stock avatars for right now but I may be wrong. If I am please tell me how to upload my own. Thanks

Yes, I believe that's correct. I have just been to check and can not find a way to upload my personal avatar.
 Another great suggestion here for the staff to work on. Help's make the community better with people requesting features that they want.
