I read this article on page 11 of the Daily Mirror earlier today:
Ace Ben in Poker triumph Ben Affleck has won a top poker tournament, scooping a £200,000 prize. The Hollywood star beat off 90 players to win the California state poker championship. Affleck, 31, will now go on to take a seat at next year's world poker tour championship - the first film star to do so. He said he was pleased with his play as it proved he was not a "complete donkey" at poker. Nancy Friedman of the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles said Affleck has played a "very strong game" and had great fun. She added: "This is not likely to be the last time you'll see Ben Affleck at one of our final tables. He has become a respected member of the poker elite and continues to work to improve his game." Affleck's love of poker was said to have been one of the reasons for his split with Jennifer Lopez. The night they broke off their engagement he went out gambling with friends until 5am. He should be given credit for the level of competition he must have been facing. I doubt the other 89 player were rich movie stars who could right of the buy-in as entertainment.

wonder what the buy in was in the tourny he won? the thing is as well is that these people have to much money and may not play as tight as someone who could only just afford the buy in. well thats my opinion anyway but good luck to the guy
