Live Poker Games in London for 2009

Hi There,
I have been running live Poker games for almost year and I am always trying to urge players to pay one of my poker venues a visit atleast once. Unlike other Pub poker games, I am trying to offer a slightly different experience. Nothing too spectacular but I hope it the little things that make people come back to my games. I use proper round poker tables, not tacky table tops. 100% plastic cards, tourney chips with denominations, and the coolest cash chips around.

The Flagship game is the Tuesday night game in Camden. 7:30pm kick off, the buyin is £15 + £3 donation. With 1 Rebuy for £10 during the first hour and 1 Add on for £5 at the end of the first hour. There is always a bubble prize, which varies week to week. One random game a month there will be free pizza for you to snack on. If there is any Champions League we will show it on our widescreen and we play music at a low level if there isnt any football on. The exact location is The Victoria Pub, 2 Mornington Terrace, NW1 7RR. This game is every Tuesday night.

Twice a month on Sundays I run a Deepstack Freezeout Tourney on New Oxford St, about 3 mins walk from Tottenham Court Road Station. 2pm start, buyin is £30 + £5, lots of chips and long blind levels. If you get elminated early and are waiting on a cash game you can pass the time playing Xbox live on our Projector screen or just surf net on our laptops. We also give away free hotdogs during all our Sundays games if you get hungry. The location is The OLD Crown Pub, 33 New Oxford St, WC1A 1BH. The next game is 25th Jan.

I have just negotiated with a Pub in Highbury called the Snooty Fox to run a game once month on Friday nights, The structure still needs to be finalised but the first game commence on 30th Jan. This game that will run after closing hours with Pub doing a lock in for all players after last orders. Players can still buy drinks till 1am, and if we have enough runners the landlady might let us play longer.

I think i get emails from you ZAM about the LPL in London. I tend to ignore them ill be honest as i cant afford to play live atm but i might start taking more of an interest in it if i get more disposable moolahhh.
