Not sure if im looking in the wrong place or not..but theres a freeroll due to start soon (19:15 GMT) which is "exclusive to members of the gambling.co.uk forums" which i obviously am :P
Its asking for a password, and im not sure where to be looking or asking for this?
Help somebody? =]
There is some criteria for this freeroll.
From memory, you need to have made around 20 posts over a period of a couple of weeks or so.
The idea is this freeroll rewards those who contribute to the forums. As such, the mods keep an eye on those who just spam the forums to get their post count up and they soon find themselves deleted.
So in short, you wont be able to play the freeroll this evening, but if you take an active part on the forums then I'll no doubt see you in the game in the future.
I should also add that poker.co.uk run three freerolls each weekday evening (6.15pm, 7.45pm, 9.15pm). They get 50-100 runners each and are well worth a play. They are open to everybody who logs in via poker.co.uk.
Your 2nd post answered the questions i had after the 1st post
Firstly,i didnt know about this criteria existing as it is not mentioned on the tournament information, but thanks for the reply anyway as like you said, i can enter the future ones instead =]
Obviously there would be no point in making the tournament exclusive to this forums members if you could join up in 2 seconds like i just did and enter it anyway.
Thanks again =]
I have posted 20 and still can't get in... hmmmmmm (and have been a member for a few weeks now).
It could be that you have to wait a week or so after making 20 posts.
I see you have 21 posts, but as you've been active today it mwans you've only just reached your total.
Mind you, I could be wrong.
The mods will spot this thread soon enough and clarify the issue.
Aye the Access to the usergroup required to see passwords is given per day so if youve only just today reached 20 even though youve been a member for more than a week you probably still wont be able to get the PW. Your best bet is to send Gus Mango Fish a PM and hope he gets back to you in time, if not might just be next week.
And to Danny the OP, if you look in the info for the tournament in the Poker.co.uk client it says : "See http://www.gambling.co.uk/forums/ for terms and conditions". Then in the Poker Tournaments section of this forum it will have its own thread set up each week for that tournament which will display the criteria as mentioned by Tom.
I just don't have enough to talk about. I'll be here all year trying to get 20 posts i guess![]()
