I have been intrested in playing in the Scottish tournaments on Poker.co.uk but I'm not really sure how satellites work. If you win th daily, weekly then monthly finals then do you get the seat at the Scottish open?

Hi Aaron If you qualify from the daily that gets you into the weekly. If you qualify from the weekly that gets you into the monthly final. Finally, if you qualify in that (usually top 2 or 3 spots) you get a seat in the live event itself (e.g. The Scottish Open). Of course, you can skip certain stages by buying straight into the weekly / monthly final.

Cheers Matt.
I really haven't bothered with satellites tbh, so Poker.co.uk isn't sponsoring you or anything is it? Like taking a percentage of winnings? I usually play poker at Napoleons and they tell me all this rubbish! Is the Scottish Open a big prize then? into tens of thousands? Aaron |

Theres 1 Spot into the Scottish Open for every €3800 in the PrizePool so that would lead me to believe that the buyin is probably AT LEAST £1500 for the Scottish Open. I daresay 1st Place would get perhaps over £200,000?

If you can satellite in from the Daily to the Weekly to the Monthly then you have as much chance as anyone else. If you get that far, and cash AT ALL you'll be in "MegaProfitz". Give it a go

It sounds like hell of a journey to get all the way through the qualifiers though. I wouldn't have thought that there would be £200,000 for the first place?
