poker is the new vogue and is appealing to all,but for a mere novice can be costly...personally i think the way forward is freerolls, you can gain a lot of experience and with an incentive to win " a few dollars more ", and play up there with the big wigs, but i have to say that my preference is for the 3d poker, if you haven,t already tried it, it's a must and is great fun...PKR and now ladbrokes have just launched their own version..it's extremely addictive and will make you cry with laughter. poker stars, partypoker and pokerheaven all offer good freerolls as does fulltilt and would be nice if poker.co.uk could offer more freerolls. i am elated at this opportunity offered by "facebook" with such a tempting prize pool, good luck to all who make it to there...yours...freerollfan!
have to agree but as well as enjoying the game you must be disciplined in your approach. this is the beauty of freerolls . so many of the entrants can't be bothered to play well because their money isn't being risked.
if you approach freerolls ,from the first blinds to the final table, with the attitude and concentration warranted by the prizes at the final table they are very worthwhile pursuing.
If you can't resist going all in early in the tourney with monsters then sit out the first 20 mins.after that time the field should have thinned considerably so leaving you with an easier task.
In a freeroll, like any tournament, you need to play the cards for the first 90 minutes then you can start playing poker.
I Agree u need the 1st 1/2 hr to settle in otherwise your chips just dissapear!
Got donked out a few times with AA when people with 52o call my allin![]()
Sucks :P
free rollers are great but its so stupid when your first had 6 people are all in with nothing and ur sitting there with ace king suited but u cant call because every 1 is all in and some 1 is bound to have something or bad beat you
