    Default Tournament Software

Anyone using software to enhance their home tournaments?

Just downloaded Dr Neau's Tournament manager and giving it a try - its free to download but to customise costs a couple of quid.

It keeps track of your blinds and has a whole range of options that I'll probably never use but it looks like a lot of fun.

    Anyone else using it?

This one is used a lot in the live games I play in... it is free (but people generally make a donation of some kind as it's good!).

It's infinitely configurable and does everything you'll need...

Thanks sloggs, will take a look and compare. Dr Neaus is great, however you have to subscribe to keep usinghis software- $10 every 3 months - 40 bucks a year with no option to buy outright.

I do like the fully customisable front screen on Dr Neu's though and you can customise all sounds including when a player is eliminated.

    Cheers slOggs

I tried both Tournament director and Dr Neau's. My requirement was for a one table tourney, simple blinds announcer/timer.

your recommendation proved the best for my purposes. Dr Neau's is over complex for what I needed. I spent ages trying to configure it, whereas Tournament director is much easier and as its donationware its free to try. I'm so impressed I will be donating.

Loaded in some old western fonts like "pentagon" and "Carnival freekshow" for that "wanted poster" look and hey presto !
