Five South West players and Five Manchester Players make up our final table and with one more place out to make it into the prizes players looked around to seek out the short stacks of the table.

Bubble player was Danny Shepley in the SB vs BB Penny Hancock; Danny limped into the pot and Penny checked. Blinds at this stage were 10K 20K

Flop A 10 A Turn 8 checked river K Danny pauses and then shoves for a futher 40K, penny calls and shows the Ace to win the pot.

Danny Shepley out in 10th Place

The next out was all pre flop action when Albert Ashworth on the Button Raised to 40K, Carl Stubbs in the BB re-raised allin...Albert went into the tank and finally called:

Albert Ashworth shows K J Carl Stubbs Shows AA

Flop J 4 7 Turn J River 9

Albert hits trip Jacks and Carl Stubbs is left shaking his head on the way out to the rails.

Carl Stubbs out in 9th

This hand caught me out due to the fact i was at the bar when it happenend!

Gemma short stack at the table picked up K Q and raised allin, BB Liam had to call with J 6

Flop A J 4 Turn 6 River J Liam hits a full house and Gemma can be very pleased with her 8th place finish.

Gemma Argent out in 8th Place

Even though no one went out in this hand it gave a short stack player one big stack!

Blinds 15K 30K 1000 ante Liam raised 60K i believe on the button Albert called in the SB and Ian Hudson shoved allin i believe for over 100K in a nice squeeze play.
Liam didn't take to long to fold and albert had Ian covered called!

Albert shows A 5 Ian Hudson shows A J

Flop Q 8 K Turn 10 River A Ian turns a straight and Albert is now on the short stack!

Penny Hancock our Final lady in the tournament was forced to act in the SB; blinds are now 20K 40K 1000 ante Penny moved allin and James with not much more on his BB was forced to call!

Penny Hancock shows J 2 James Conlon shows K 10

Flop Q 6 10 Turn 9 River 9

Great performance from Penny Hancock who finishes in 7th place

Penny Hancock

Blind on blind action once again as James Conlon Raises to 60K in the SB; Craig who was the short Stack pushed for a further 27K, James with no choice but to call!

James Conlon Shows J 9 Craig Wookey shows A 3

Flop J J K Turn A River K James hits a full House and Craig Wookey finishes in 6th Place!

Craig Wookey out in 6th Place

Five players left and with Fours players getting the Las Vegas Prize package it makes for a very tense final table.
Level 22 Blinds 30K 60K and ante 2000 blinds were worth stealing!

Albert with that in mind pushed for 157K close to the button, Ian Hudson went into the tank and thought for a long time before folding, while this was going on i could sense that Chris Burke had picked up a big hand and wanted to call, he also took his time before anouncing 'I CALL'

Albert Ashworth Shows A 8 Chris Burke shows A J

Flop 6 5 5 Turn J River 2

Albert Ashworth finishes in 5th Place

Congratulations to the remaining Four Players who have all won that Las Vegas Package!

Chris Burke (Manchester) Liam Tinker (Manchester) James Conlon (Bristol) Ian Hudson (Bath)

A special well done to James Conlon who has now won this package for the second time which is a huge achievement!

A big thanks goes out to the Broadway Casino who in my opinion put on a great event, and also to all the players who came down for the day and played the game in the spirit in which poker should be played!
