Srange reply. I said best 6 favours those who play most, you question maths logic then go on to say that it favours those who play most????????? I didnt mention if it favoured them less or not you made your ow assumption. My satement was accurate. Not sure if anyone in mcr has ever won 5 out of 8 tho...unless at a venue with 6 players or something which would still make a mockery of the system anyway.

It's all getting a bit tedious now.

The best 6 games format will determine the Leaderboard Trophy winner. This gives the 12-20 games per month players at least some chance rather than no chance. It may also encourage the 6-10 game players to put in a few more shifts if they've had a very good run (ie, Eric in October).

Qualifying for the monthly finals stays the same, ie, total points scored over the month.

Couldn't be simpler. Everyone's a winner. Pass it on.

I don't think it'll make any difference to most people, no, but to quite a few players it'll certainly add an extra incentive if they fancy having a tilt at the title (and let's face it, poker players are a competitive bunch). It was virtually impossible before, now it isn't.

My point having been made perfectly, I shall now retire from this thread
