Default Las Vegas 2008 Schedule

Just checked the WSOP site and was surprised to see the Schedule out for the 2008 World Series.

Below is the date and event that i would like to use to send all our winners to play.

Mon, Jun 30th
12:00:00 PM
3-Day Event No-Limit Hold'em (Event 52)
No Rebuy/Add-ons $1,500

Any particular reason for choosing this one over event 2? I rather like the idea of winning event 2 and staying on and playing some more tournies

I believe the logic is that someone will be playing the $10,000 main event, so it seems sensible for the bulk of LPL players to be out there are about the same time so the Main Eventer has some friendly faces.

Correct!...although this is not set in stone with qualifying players, i do understand that some players will not be able to attend on certain dates, and will be able to chose there own $1,500 event is this happens.
