Yeah thats the guy! He's the Planet Hollywood Pro! He does a Bounty / headhunter game every Thursday evening. Whoever knocks him out gets a cash bounty. (it wasnt me!)

It probably was. He plays $50 STT's at the venetian as a bit of a gimmick so any one can play him

As for the Tax of 30%, all I know is when we played in most places we were told if anyone wins over $1000 at anything the floor manager will check out where they come from and anyone who isn’t a US national will get the Withholding of 30% from the winnings.
This just didn’t cover poker it covered any winnings in Vegas. Slots, sports betting and so on!

A couple of venues explained about it right at the start of a game and stuck to it.

But others like Planet Hollywood just said "Fuck it man! Were not the IRS, if you win big here its up to you to pay your own taxes just like everyone else in the U S of A!"

So I guess it’s either a sweet con they have got going on the half drunken foreign tourists to bump up the Xmas staff bonus. Or the casino staffs don’t know about the tax waiver schemes.

I wasn’t really prepared to argue the finer points of Anglo American Tax treaties with casino Pit bosses!! I like my face attached.

Regards
