Alas, the long-feared heads-up war of atrition betwixt Brawlsey and The Chickenman will have to wait for another year. Believe it or not, our man is going up to Newcastle to watch Shed Seven the day before the regionals, so won't be able to make it.

I dunno... I was playing Omaha with some friends on Saturday and they are two most passive players ever. When they got to heads up (after my flopped flush draw two pair was cracked by a better two pair, Omaha is so awesome!) every hand went like this:
SB completes BB checks. Flop-check check. Turn-check check. River-bet fold or check bet fold. And of course the small stack who was all in blind twice got lucky and eventually came back to win it. HAHAHAHAHA. I WAS SO EXCITED I NEARLY LAID AN EGG. bok bok. ps I'll still be up for a heads up match against someone on Regionals day though... Depends on the format of the main event though. We'll call it The Chickenman Heads Up Challenge! Game will be H.O.R.S.E, blinds @ 10 minutes, standard LPL stack/levels. |

Jolly Hatters. Final table. 15/11/07.
The blinds are currently 1500/3000 and it has just been announced that the blinds will increase on the next hand to 2000/4000. Brawlsy has 5000 and has just posted his Big Blind of 3000, leaving 2000 infront of him. Bear in mind, if for some crazy reason he doesn't play this hand, his remaining 2000 is going in as his Small Blind on the next hand whether he likes it or not. I am also short stacked so push all in with A-8 suited from under the gun. I get a call from middle position (holding A-10) and the action folds round to Brawlsy. Now, this seems like a no-brainer to me, and I'm sure most people would call here with any two cards. With 13000 in the pot available to him, he is getting six and a half to one on his money. He can either call now or be forced all in on his next hand with only 2000 chips. Captain Sensible enters the think tank and ums and ahs for a while... What is he waiting for?! Call already!! Here i figured he must have a terrible starting hand and despite the odds he's getting, just really does not want to call. Either that, or he has a rag ace, and knows that i would push with any ace at this stage, and the caller could be holding a big ace, so he is likely to be dominated... ![]() Eventually after a few painful moments, he reluctantly calls and turns over A-K suited. WOW. ![]() |

I forget if this has already been mentioned on here but The Chickenman was playing in The Clyde. The blinds are 1K and 2K. Chickenman has 2.5K and is in the big blind. Mid-position raises, there is one caller but otherwise it folds around to the Chickenman. He pauses for a second before mucking his cards. He was then all in on the SB and lost.
If he had played the hand, he'd have won it. |
