We now have available a Casino in Birmingham that will host some Finals, i would like to add a poll to find out what players would prefer
Question is whether or not after the three month promotion, would players like to hold 2 local finals followed by a Joint Final in Birmingham were we could pool all the monies and have a South West and Manchester Final. Advantages: Bigger starting stack 10K with a slower blind structure. All tables will be dealer dealt Buffet included. Parking is Free under the casino Prize Fund would be £2K Disavantages Finals would be held on a Saturday Further to travel Cost of £5 per player Any feedback is welcome Last edited by LPL_Mike : 2nd October 2007 at 06:16 PM. |

I'd personally like to see every Bristol final held in a Bristol casino - e.g. Gala maybe?
A national final every 3 months would be cool too though

adding to my previous post:
To travel to Birmingham casino would be good for an annual get together for all regions but every month would personally be too much as it quite distance for everybody, but i agree with Matt would definately be up for playing our monthly finals in local casino (Gala) |

I think monthly finals in Birmingham are too much. The current set-up seems about right though - have most finals in the regions with the odd game in Birmingham.
One thing about the Brum games - I think the structure has to be such that people can catch the last trains back home if they go deep so this should be looked in to before deciding start times and blinds etc. |

Just to add my 2 penneth worth, a lot of people have enough trouble getting to a regional final every month in a different location.
However an occasional final somewhere different would be good for a giggle. When we got together with the mancs at the inter-pub final i think we all had fun so a combined final is a good idea, everybody likes to play for more "vouchers" |

Its good for people who want to play, ie for me I would love to travel to birmigham and play the final there much more professional etc. The only downside i can see is the casual player (And a lot of them do make the finals) might not be interested.
Thumbs up from me though. |

i think it would be good to keep the monthly finals as they are. But if there was a seperate league table like the bad beat one for the Birmingham final then i think that would work as well. it wouldnt be as pricey to travel to Birmingham once every 3 months than every 4 weeks.
also as i work saturdays, 1 saturday in 3 months would suit me! ![]() |

The idea of a monthly Final at the Birmingham Casino wouldn't really work, i think i have confused matters with the last selection as i really just want to find out if players would go up every three months so 1 in 3 would be played in Birmingham.
