WSOP Live Final Venue April 2008 *Update
Just a quick update on the Live Final next year for the WSOP Main Event seat.
I have been in talks with the Casino in Birmingham, who are interested in hosting the event. I have penciled in the week of 26th/27th April 2008. The idea is to play on Saturday night starting at 7pm and play through to a Final table. The Final table will all come back on the Sunday and play to a finish... Question... Do players want to play on the saturday night in a two day format? Or.... Do players want to play on a Sunday to a finish? Feedback welcome.. I visited the Casino in Birminham today to have a look at the cardroom, and its going to be a great venue to hold the final.
I have spoken to the general manager and have pencilled in the 26th of April 2008 which i will be able to confirm by the end of this month. This will be the first time i have held a Final on a Saturday but with lots of notice players who work on a Saturday will be able to take time off to attend the Final.

 Sounds spiffing, Mike. Looks like I'm gonna have to pull my finger out and actually qualify for the damn thing, unless you're willing to include wildcards. Like at Wimbledon.
