I was at a game last night and there was a lot of talk of moving the date/venue due to it being derby day?
Is it defo going ahead at the pitcher and piano?

Good point, Liam...would it be alright to sign in, sod off to watch the match, and then come back with about 1,500 chips left, push all-in, and go home? That's my plan, anyway

i remember last season in sept it was
Man utd Vs Arsenal that day, big game of the season and arsenal won 2-1  it was a  that day

Derby Day Rules
I'm afraid me and possibly many others will be boycotting today event.
Being from Manchester you would imagine that most people in the Manchester Poker League would support either Manchester United or City, therefore when Derby Day clashes with the Poker League Final I would not have hesitated but to change the date, you mentioned the Freeroll date as an unacceptable date, how many people who have qualified for the final would have complained about missing out on the Freeroll, ridiculous statement. Anyhow good luck to all those who clearly support Stockport County or don't watch football, I suspect the league organiser is a Cricket fan. Ta

Well I must say that watching the match on Sunday was well worth missing out on the Poker League prize money that will only be a matter of time before I collect it on a more realistic date. Who won anyhow! Ta.
