Inter-pub-cup Draw!

Draw was made at Filo's during the Badbeat Final.

Date 10th of June Start Time 12.00

Venue: BALMORAL W-S-M

2nd and 3rd game will take place on the same day.

Format:

Eight single table tournaments where you play for points, the higher the finish on your table the more points you achieve.

Points:

1st Place = 1200pts
2nd Place = 1000pts
3rd Place = 800pts
4th Place = 600pts
5th Place = 400pts
6th place = 300pts
7th Place = 200pts
8th Place = 100pts

At the end of the single tournament all points are added up for your team and transferred into chips.

Each team then takes the total number of chips to the final table where one player will play for 20 minutes before switching. this continues untill we have our final two teams who will then qualify for the Final.

On the final table each player from the team will be allowed one community card, where he will be allowed to stop the action to confer with his team mates, once the card has been used he is on his own!

IMPORTANT

Teams that attend the final with 7 players or less, will not only get the lowest points on the Single Table Tournament, but on the final table 8 rotations must be made so if you have 6 players 2 rotations will involve no player sitting at the table.

Sorry, should of asked in the above message!! Do you know when the final is going to be? I have a few commitments in July along with some other members in the WSM league, and If it clashes, I do not want to let my team mates down, if we are lucky enough to qualify.

Provisionally the last Sunday in July (29th) , but because two Manchester teams will be coming down i want to speak to Dave before i make a firm date.

No problem, thanks for your quick response.

I cant play on the 29th,

so can I play in the qualifier, then give my seat up to a reserve for the final, if we were to make it through, or will I need to back out now???

Sorry for all the questions, but I dont want to let the team down, so the more notice I can give, the better

Andy i would play in the Qualifier, and if we do choose that date then it wouldn't be a problem that they use a reserve to play in your place.
