Im having an absolute stinker this month, already I've played twice as many games as last month and have less than half the amount of points! When the best hand you've seen all evening is A8 suited or pocket 4s i personally dont think there's much more you can do. Anyway just wanted to have a rant as it's really starting to p*ss me off!!

I'm hitting too many low cards. The cards must think I'm anti-monarchy cos I rarely seem to hit any face cards.

The few times I do it is a trap consipred by fate - last night I built a reasonable stack up on rubbish cards and when I do finally get a QQ I get knocked out.

The worst thing in poker is a cold deck, not some bad cards. A lot of the time if you play tight with crap cards, its so frustrating and the only thing you can do is steal a few blinds/small pots everynow and again, but you might get into the points, maybe even the final table.

But if you've got a cold deck and you're getting monster cards only to be outdrawn or run into even bigger cards, that's when you go out before the points and have a really crappy game. That's when I hate this game.

Would agree with you there mate. To be honest it was getting on a bit and I didnt want to get blinded out so went on tilt and thought stuff it A8 suited is the best hand I've seen all night so it's all or nothing.................gutted it was nothing

been there, done that. In fact, did it 1 saturday night in both games. I played 5 hands in total in both games, including being in the blinds and all ins. Both games, I got so excited with a A7s and A9s because of the hands I'd seen all night and both times got called very quickly by people with AQ......probably the worst night as far as bordem goes I've had playing poker. At least I didn't lose any money doing it though......there's always a bright side on everything
