Iam i missing somthing? I just flicked through todays episode on bbc site and i didnt even hear the word poker mentioned! lol.... was it defeintly todays episode?

Yeah, I saw it - isn't this exactly the same concept that we have had with the Live Poker League in Bath Bristol & Manchester for the past year or so?

Chipfire, yes it is, only we were here first. They have fewer players and fewer pubs involved... it will be interesting to see how it grows (or not). He would have done much better to get Duncan Bannatyne's money in my opinion.

Hummmmm.... intresting!
Whats shocks me is they are willing to give the bloke their moeny - no offecen to the guy but i wouldnt trust him as far as i could throw him! lol. As for Admins comment, i agree duncan has a great experiance in casinos etc.... somewhere that could host finals days!! what a missed opportunity.... As for the nuts poker league i base my opinion on the first impression and i dont like their web site, LPL rocks!!!!!!!!!!

watched it on bbc2 last night as a guy in workl mentioned something about it and i wondered if it was going to be mike(didnt see this post till now).
Notice how they all got really intrested when he mentioned a banner on his site and 27 percent rake.
