Scoring Averages

As Stu correctly pointed out, the averages won't show a true average as we only recieve the top 16 players, and not all the players that played during the evening.

So to correct this we must now input all players that played during the game, and not just the top 16, this will involve a bit more work for the guys who send me the results and a bit more work my end, but it was either remove the Averages or try to do it properly.

Jamie our web guy is away for a week, so we won't be able to make any changes until he comes back...but we will be keeping a list of all players so we will be able to input the extra players when the system is up and running

Players can help the situation by:

• Rembering there ID number to put onto the sign in sheet

• Printing there name clearly so it is readable.

The coding which allows me to add the additonal names now has been done, and i have started to input the complete results.

Some players will now see a change in the average score and games played, if you see any error or just what to query something regarding the scores send me and e-mail.

Very shortly you wil be able to see a National Average Leader Board which will keep track of the best National averages from both leagues.

More news regarding the purpose and use of the Average leader board will be annouced shortly.
