as discussed with Mike who saw the same show as I did. It certainly DID happen in a WPT event with 3 players left. Now, it's agreed that this isn't the correct thing to do but the reason I got confused with this issue is because I watched a show where 3 pros, a pro dealer and a pro tournament director allowed 2 players to call an allin and NOT put the minimum big blind value in. I accept this isn't the correct way to do it but I'm sure you can see where the confusion came from. I also wanted to clear it up as some people in the league play 1 way and some play the other. We all now know the correct way to play therefore the conversation is a good one and the correct result has come out of it.

It's all good as they say

Let me clarify.
If the person who is the small blind goes out, the blinds DO NOT move around, the dealer who dealt previously deals again.

Yeah- i think you misunderstood me- this rule (that you outline above) is played the same in internet and LPL.

The situation that i was trying to outline is that if a player goes out on the large blind and WOULD have been the small blind next hand, then on the internet no small blind would be posted but in LPL rules, as both blinds must be posted, the next player in the sequence (not on the blind when the player went out) would go straight to posting the small blind and miss their large blind.

Some internet sites do have a SB. If you check that joke of a site called ladbrokes they do exaclty the same. I dont think there is a set rule about the small blind but most people think its fair about missing the SB out
