Default Manchester Poker League

two quick questions to see what you think.

1. Which of the pubs provides the stiffest test with the best competion

2. Which pubs are the easiest to pick the point up on?

Thats a good question which i really cant give you a good answer, just my opinion of when i was playing in the Manchester league.

1. The Olde Cock Inn in Didsbury the night i played a poker Pro made an appearance with his wife, they both did very well, and contributed to a very enjoyable evening

2. Wouldn't really like to guess at that one.....but as the League is still new you will find a couple of pubs still quite quiet..

right OK!

Whats going to happen now that the Vine game has stopped - you should really try and keep a game going in the city centre - I've just started playing in the league this week but I know a lot of young proffessionals (a demographic that poker.co.uk would be very interested in) that would be into playing an after work game in the city centre. Any news

I very much agree with you sligobhoy....and we are looking right now to replace the pub with a new one, if you have any recommendations that you think might be suitable please let us know...

I would preffer it we tried to go up market a little, a lot of the current locations are "spartan" to say the least, however I accept that these are the easiest locations to obtain.

Maybe we should try and get any location and then try to better it - maybe somewhere like the Nags Head off Deansgate, its a bit of a quite crappy pub in a central location with a large room upstairs
