Default Losing runs!

Can anyone explain the theory behind losing runs? I suppose I am no different from any body else on this forum or anyone who enjoys a punt but losing runs are so difficult to fathom! It gets to the stage where you almost know when you place a bet that its not going to win, but you have to place it to get it out of the way. You study form in the same way, you abide by the same systems, you are thorough and meticulous but yet fate has decided that for a period no matter what you do you will not win. Then all of a sudden when you least expect it a winner followed by another then a silly bet which cops at 33/1 or something stupid. Please explain losing runs and why they occur!

I always find its best not to over analyze it i mean you will never fathom it out anyway what has happened is history much better to try picking the next winner or loser.
