i started fruit machines when i was 11 at blackpool but had been playing other types as mchiens as oon as i could reach the, eg, horse racing/car racing in the arcades with the glass domes, u know the type . my true luv was pinball at the time tho.
fruities had £1 jackpots in tokons then, first ones didnt even have a nudge then u got 3 nudges wow. tiny hold buttons and a lver in the centre of the front panel to start it.

in my day we used to throw coins towards the wall and the person closest won, nowadays we still play it (at stupid o'clock),but for £5erz, it's still fun

First time I ever played a fruitmachine was when my parents took me to Paignton.
It was a 2p machine, but was broken, and when you put 2p in you got 10 spins instead of 1. I cleaned the machine out (about 2 quid) and when the final payout just chugged the machine I asked a security guy to help me claim my lost funds. I got thrown out. I was about 8. |
