hi guys.since the 12th july i have been proofing a horse laying system that has returned quite impressive results, and i will post selections on here for the next month.from the 12th july to the end of the month returned +28.84 points, august returned +34.86 points.september has been a little wobbly, but is around 13 points up on the month with 2 races to go.
basically you are laying the favourite on specific races which i select.
there are only a few simple rules accompanying this.
firstly the fav has to be odds over 2.7
secondly it has to be a clear favourite.guidelines are between odds of 2.7-3,second fav has to be at least 0.08 lower.
3-4 2nd fav has to be at least 0.15 (i.e. 3.15 fav,2nd fav has to be min 3.30)
over 4 has to be a minimum of 0.2 points clear of 2nd fav.
with those rules in mind i will start posting tomorrow.all previous results are available on demand.
by the way this is most definitely bottable, although results may vary from the timeform BSP that i use to collate results due to market changes in the minute or so before the off.
by the way stakes are 2.5% of betting bank,i.e. a 200 quid bank you are looking to make a fiver a race.NOT liability.obv liability varies according to the odds shown by BSP.selections for today were as follows.
3.15
4.25
4.40
5.20 G (irish races will have a suffix indicating which meet,to avoid confusion over possible conflicting times)
7.45
8.45
so on the day with 1 race to come only 1 fav has won,in the 3.15 at odds of 2.84,so profit so far on the day is 2.16 points with 1 race to come.i have posted all selections elsewhere,so selections and past results are fully verifiable.
At long last. A post which actually has something to do with gambling and not the usual spam. Keep it up mate!

thanks johnny.
well i can confirm that with the last race obliging, profit on the day was +3.16 points, with a total monthly profit of +16.31 points.
i will be starting with a fresh bank tomorrow(start of month),but with 3 profitable months out of 3 so far,i have absolutely no doubt that system will continue to perform.my suggestion for a staking plan is to take 2.5% of bank at start of month and lvl stake it for the month.then use bank to recalibrate new stake after next months profits.
if you wish to recalibrate bank on a daily basis then that is up to you,its a good way to build a bank quicker, but DOES increase risk.im sure by the end of the month you will all appreciate that i have something awesome here.for a laying system that has produced 80 odd points profit over less than 3 months,i think this is unheard of.i welcome all comments/criticisms,and will respond to any and all enquiries on the subject.the basis for this system is using parameters whereby favourites are unlikely to win certain races, and this has been borne out so far.
selections for 1st oct.starting again with bank=0
2.50
5.10 G
5.45
with a non qualifying race(the 2.50 because first and second favs went off at 7.39 and 7.4 bsp, even tho neither won),we made 2 points on the day.this also highlights why i put a suffix on the irish races, there was a clash in the 5.10 with another race at redcar going off,and the fav won this one.....
anyway profit on month= +2 points
This is very interesting. The problem is whenever I BACK a fav. it seems to lose! I have no doubt at all if I were to LAY that fav. it would win easy! That just seems to be my luck. Anyway, keep up the posts as I am most interested to see how you get on. Only one small point. When you post the times of the races could you possibly say what meeting is is as well. Just the first letter of the course would be great. Cheers!

i dont think theres any need.if you are betting the races, then by opening the betfair horse racing day card,it tells you which meet at what time.the reason i put a letter after irish races is that sometimes theres a clash with times on the UK card,as in today where our bet was at gowran park, and there was a clash with redcar at the same time.the fav at redcar won the race, whereas my pick didnt.if you need to check results may i suggest timeform results page which is official betfair results.the times are laid out in an easy to read manner, and it takes seconds to see which race applies to which times.i think if i start putting letters after every race then it will become confusing.for instance theres meets at newbury, newmarket and navan(ireland).holy shit(excuse my french!!).so honestly it just makes things simple not to add suffixes to each and every race lol.
by the way system has been developed over time that statistically collates a few different criteria, which shows historically that a favourite has a very low chance of winning that particular race.it doesnt matter if its bloody shergar,it is likely to get turned over.and results over the last 3 months have borne out my initial hypothesis.to the point where i dont even get excited anymore.i just know that over a months period that we WILL come out ahead.
selections for 2/10
5.10 Uttoxeter
5.30 Kelso
