I deposited 100.00 with Expekt and bet on England Vs Argentina at odds of 2.00
Actually lost the bet, But I should of been eligible for the 50.00 sign up bonus which would of softened the blow. They are however flat out refusing to give me the bonus, saying that my IP is already registered, I know this is 100% false and an excuse as no one in my house has ever gambled before also my computer, I have never had any friend on it at all gamble etc etc. I sent emails to them of my blackberry using 3g so maybe they picked up that IP ? Tbh I am awaiting the outcome from the bonus team now, not impressed with there customer service at all ! Hopefully they will redeem themselves as i think i am being put through to the bonus team.
Who else has had problems with them??
Some online bookies will do anything they can to avoid paying the welcome bonus they have advertised. It is well out of order. My mate joined one online bookmakers and was able to bet straight away with no problems. After a few losing bets he enquired where his bonus was, only to be told "You will need to verify your AGE to get your bonus!" The cheek of it. He is over 40! So they are saying it is ok to GAMBLE before age verification, but you will need to prove your age to get a bonus. Does not sound right to me.

The big problem is that the get mugged off by people who are in to matched betting.. your IP address changes everytime internet is switched off. Has a friend ever joined from your house? I've joined 20+ and so far never had this. I would say:
- I'll bad mouth you on my forum page which i run (big it up a bit)
- You run an affiliate site and have been testing them, you are 100% sure they are wrong and will immediately remove them.
- Or just be truthful and say your 100% they are wrong, really liked their site but categorically won't bet with liars. Maybe say how your family has never bet in their life too!
If it doesn't work move on lots of other places which give offers!
The IP address model is completely dumb for managing signups. I'm amazed that any company still relies on it.
A good example of why this doesn't work:
I used to work at a Uni with 18k students living in halls, all with one single externally visible IP address. So any one student signs up, nobody else can.
Same goes for pretty much any public network: library/internet cafe/McDonalds, you name it.
