    NBA PLAYOFFS (31-18-1, +11.04u) 2010.04.30 first 2 picks:

    Atlanta Hawks @ Milwaukee Bucks: Atlanta Hawks -1.5 -110 (1.91) 2BetDSI, BetPhoenix, JazzSports

    Denver Nuggets @ Utah Jazz: Utah Jazz -6 -110 (1.91) Bookmaker, Jazz -4.5 -111 (1.90) Goalwin

    * One unit each always.

    Atlanta Hawks @ Milwaukee Bucks

    At this point, the Bucks only need one more win to achieve the next step. What seems one of the easiest series of this playoffs, had a big turnover. The Hawks had the home advantage, and many people though that this series could win with a 4-0 for the Hawks. However, after the two first home games, where the Hawks controlled the game, they went to Milwaukee lose two in a row. And if that weren't bad enough, a tie in the series when they thought that would be easy, they get a loss at home, and are one game away of the elimination. So, at this point, and with 5 of 7 games played, there is only one thing to do for the Hawks. They have to win at Milwaukee, and try to eliminate the Bucks at home in game 7.

    Despite the great effort from the Bucks, the truth is that the team is walking in a thin line. They had the edge at home when they faced an arrogant Hawks team, that thought the game was won before the end. In the last game, at Atlanta, they just had the star with them that night. After a bad game from the home team, they were smart enough to attack the paint, and made almost all their shots and free throws. The team have a rookie to lead them, Jennings, and the effort and will that the players put in the field, make the difference. Their best players are out at this part of the season, with the big scorer Redd missing almost all the season and the big man in the paint Bogut missing since the last part of the season. However, the team, through a great team game, were able to achieve 3 wins in a row.

    The Hawks can just let this series flow as they were doing. They have to be aggressive right now, has they are one game away of the end of the season. They were surprised in the third game, the first in Milwaukee, but since them, they just had missing some luck in the final minutes. The team is much more experienced and more important, better. They have the most balanced team, a deep bench, and players that can make them play easily a hard game in the paint or a fast game behind the arc.

    Tonight, the Hawks will have to awake. They have a big edge in the paint, as they have players that will have no opposition, at least at the same level. They will have to use that edge tonight to cover the paint. They will have a opponent moralized, knowing that they just need a win to get through. The biggest problem for the hawks is that the Bucks attack the paint with all their players, trying to get free throws. They have to be aware for it, and try to not make to many faults, as happened in the last game when Joe Johnson went to the bench early with 6 faults. The Hawks have also to get a better accuracy, something that they can easily due, as they have great scorers. There is no more time for pity. The Hawks got the be aggressive as they realized that after all, the series wouldn't be so easy.

    Very nice playoffs so far!

    NBA PLAYOFFS (35-18-1, +14.73u) 2010.05.01 only pick:

    Boston Celtics @ Cleveland Cavaliers

    Today we will have the first game of a semi final. Many people will follow this particularly series with interest, as everyone still waiting to see if the Cavaliers can be really a contenders while they have LeBron James. This will be probably the biggest chance for the Cavaliers, as they will lose LeBron for free agency next year. For the Cavaliers now will start the true test to their capabilities, has they had faced before only the Bulls.

    The Cavaliers and the Celtics are both aware that they are not playing at their best. Both teams can play better, as we saw in the regular season. If the Celtics were happy due to a bad coaching from their last opponent, the Cavs didn't ensure their qualification as easy as we though. So, despite some favoritism for the Cavaliers today, this series will never be a surprise, as any result is possible and acceptable. The Cavs knows that now it's playoffs time, and probably their best chance for the upcoming years. But the Celtics, even with a poor regular season, are always strong when they arrive to the playoffs, as they got one of the most experienced rosters. They got big talent for the past and the present, that can help them facing big games.

    Both teams play with muscle, and are strong in the paint. We can't expect today a fast game, as both teams will play as smart as they can. In the big battle in the paint, probably the winner will be the strongest at that position, as it is the key for the series. In the games between these teams in the regular season, all games went over, however it was different situation. Both teams had lot's of free throws, due to same lack of permeation. At this point, none of the teams will repeat that game, as they will not offer free throws to the opponent, will have to be stronger and solid than before. In the regular season, a loss is just.... a loss. Now, a loss is a step forward to the end of the season. We should expect a playoff game (as it is) between these teams, and that makes always both teams more concentrate in the defense than offense.

    Pick: Under 191.5 -110 (1.91) Bookmaker

    * One unit each always.

    NBA PLAYOFFS (35-18-1, +14.73u) 2010.05.02 first pick:

    Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks

    The bucks were adventurers enough to put the Hawks in a a bad position. However, they doesn't have the roster and the talent that the Hawks got, and that only works to give us, NBA fans, more games to watch. But when the Hawks were in the position of "win or go home", they didn't had more pity of the Bucks, and are making them pay for that audacity. Their talent is much bigger, they have their best players playing, deep bench, and are strong in the paint, where the Bucks are defalcated with the Bogut injury.

    There isn't much to say about this game. As we saw in the last game, where the Hawks went to Milwaukee showing that they have not more patient for the Bucks, the Hawks won 83-69. A really underscored game, that's due to a big defense game from the Hawks. The Hawks got the bench and the players to control in the paint, and have also good shooters to score easily. They know that they have all the edge and will use it, after all, it will be a game 7, so they can't give any space to the Bucks, just like they did in the last game.

    That wasn't hard for them to do, and at this point, when they have to win to get the qualification, there is no other way. The Bucks were happy and a worthy opponent. They never letdown their arms, they fought while they could, taking the edge when the Hawks faced them with extra-confidence. The team got some talents, like the great rookie Jennings, but stills orphan of their biggest two players, Redd, the scorer, and Bogut, their big men.

    Their chances are now weak, as they doesn't have big men to hold an angry Hawks in the paint, and will face now a big defense, so they will have no open spaces as in previous games. They will be totally trailed by the Hawks, as there is no more space to child games.

    Pick: Atlanta Hawks -9.5 -105 (1.95) BetPhoenix, -110 (1.91) Bookmaker

    Utah Jazz @ Los Angeles Lakers: Under 198.5 -103 (1.97) BetPhoenix, -110 (1.91) Bookmaker

    * One unit each always. The teams will try to dominate each other in the paint and that will be the key in this series, so we will have a very physical and "slow" game.

    Boston Celtics @ Cleveland Cavaliers

    The first game in this NBA playoffs series went over, but just by 2.5 points. Even with the value we had for the under, we also had a weird third quarter, when LeBron remembered that perhaps would be good to the Cavaliers if he could hit every shot he try. So, we had an abnormal number of points in the third quarter, when the Cavaliers had their bounce back. So, during the most of the game, it was as I expected, and today, the game will not be so different from the last one. Probably it wont be needed a bounce back supported by LeBron, probably the only player in the field able to do so alone. And both teams will have to improve their defense to the point guards.

    The Celtics probably lost their chance to steal the home advantage that the Cavaliers have in the last game. The game was a hard game, where the Celtics had some edge while Rondo was able to get penetrations and make some layups. In the first part of the game, the Celtics were able to make a strong defense, with Perkins and Garnett getting most of the rebounds.

    The Cavaliers needed LeBron to get a bounce back, as they were trailing by 11 at the halftime. They needed some boost to get a better offense and a better defense, and in the second part of the game, they were able to do so, with a great third quarter where they were able to score 36 points. Today, they have to control the game sooner, as that kind of bounce backs doesn't happen every day.

    For today's game, we can expect a kind of game like the fourth quarter, that ended with a total of 37 points. With a balanced game, both teams will work hard to get a strong defense, instead the last game, where there was a lead by 11 games that made the Celtics relax to much. The Cavaliers know that they need to implement their defense when the game starts and not at the halftime. Another thing that both teams will improve, is their defense to the point guards, as they will have to stop them better than in the last game.

    NBA PLAYOFFS (39-20-1, +16.45u) 2010.05.04 final 4 picks:

    Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic: Orlando Magic -9 -110 (1.91) Bookmaker

    Utah Jazz @ Los Angeles Lakers: Utah Jazz +6 JazzSports -110 (1.91) Bookmaker

    Utah Jazz @ Los Angeles Lakers: Utah Jazz ML +245 2BetDSI, Bet Jamaica

    Utah Jazz @ Los Angeles Lakers: Under 199 -110 (1.91) Bookmaker, Under 200.5 -118 (1.85) Goalwin

    * One unit each always.

    Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic:

    Orlando is now in their best moment of the season. They are healthy, as they had the biggest number of days without a game since the beginning of the season. They were able to pack up the Bobcats in 4 games, and are just waiting for the next opponents in their path to the final.

    The Hawks had extra work to knock out the Bucks. Even with their best to players out, the Bucks had taken the series to game 7, giving lot's of work to the Hawks. Their offense is not working properly, as they had some problems against the Bucks, where they were able to control in the paint.

    However, they will face now the best defensive player in NBA, Howard, and that edge will be no longer in Hawks side. Their defense will have huge problems, like we saw during the regular season against Orlando. There is no doubt that this team have talent, however, is a little bit young and with lack of experience in this wanderings.

    The fact that they needed a game 7, two days ago, to grant their presence in todays game, is not good. They didn't prepare properly the game for tonight, and didn't had enough rest. At Orlando, this team can only try to study the Magics, as they have no chance to face a strong an rested Magics in Orlando, right now.

    The Magics are without afraid of any one. They know that if they want to be champions, as they wish, they have to knock out any team. Their edge in the paint is huge, and as we saw against Bobcats, they have no pity to have a double digit win. They know that a big win today is the perfect start to this series.

    They can't give any hopes to the Hawks, they have to smash them as soon as they can, to avoid the NBA banner "Where everything can happen". The team is completely healthy, have rested 7 days and had a week to prepare this game. There is no excuses, as they have all the edge in the paint, and even behind the arc.

    Their accuracy is much better, specially at home, and are highly moralized. Howard will be able to control the game in the paint, and Jameer and Carter will be able to hold the opponent guards. We can expect an huge edge for the Magics, with a great defense and a well organized offensive, and will easily put down the Hawks today.

    Pick: Orlando Magic -9 -110 (1.91) Bookmaker

    Utah Jazz @ Los Angeles Lakers

    Both teams showed toughness on their defensive rebounds and the game will be harder and tougher on this chapter. Besides, Lakers will not have such a good accuracy on this game and Kobe doesn't always solve [Lakers problems], a bit like the Utah Jazz in Denver on Game 2.

    The Jazz learned in Game 1 what they had to learn to pull off a win on this game. Bynum is hurt so Milssap will be in charge. Deron will dominate Fisher, Kobe will not play so well like he did on Game 1, and Gasol will have an interesting game against Boozer, but the later can play harder...
