You will recall the earlier thread on 'Ray Betts', offering a free phone service but basically ripping everybody off by tipping different horses in the same race etc.

Well, I still get offers on my mobile, don't know how they got my number. The latest is from 'Paul Stewart Racing' and today's 'free tip' is (Wednesday 15th July) :

3.10 Uttoxeter: no.9, Last Pioneer (best odds about 5/1).

I've not put any on. 'Paul' is going to phone me on Friday with the next tip...can't wait.

Watched this on cable....Last Pioneer was very uninspired and finished about 7th out of 13, many lengths behind the winner. Wonder what 'Paul' will have to say on Friday?

There is a list sold with your number on it. You must have ticked a box saying words to the effect that you dont mind contact from 'trusted' 3rd parties...

'Paul Stewart' never phone me back on Friday....guttted. Actually I do remember ticking a box titled 'do you wish to receive tips from non-trusted third parties' one time or other....I will keep you all posted on any future tips just for a laugh and hopefully stop these scammers picking up any innocent clients.
