I would think you would need a deeper bankroll than just 100 points worth. I'd imagine 1000pts would be more sensible. 100pts wouldn't even cover a bad day.

Sorry but I cannot give you a definative answer to this as it depends on the amount of daily selections, how many win and how many lose, it could be a week, a month, or if it all went really tits up you might never recover, that is why you need a betting bank of £200 to £2pt or £1,000 to £10 point, you are right in that you win less than you lose with laying but that is because you are in effect acting like a bookie, the only differance being you don`t need to lay every horse in every race you have the choice.

An example being if you lay a horse at 3.0 for £10 and it loses then you get £10 less 5% commision for betfair meaning you actually get £9.50, if the horse wins the race you would lose £20, you would not pay commission on any losing bets however.

Not everyone can afford to lay out £1,000 for either laying or back a system, £200 or 200pts is much more managble for a lot of people, winnings and losses are pro-rata.

No you are right but as anyone who started to follow me recently would be on 5% comission, hence the reason I am using 5%, it just seems fairer that way and easier for newbies to understand.
