    Default Arsene Wenger Buy Big

I am an Arsenal fan and have been for twenty years, i remember watching smudgey, adams, keown, anderson, winterburn, rocastle, davis etc.......... all these players were physically and mentally tough and it would be extremley hard to knock them of the ball at times, they never shyed out of a tackle and didnt worry about getting a little kick here and there, they stood tall and got stuck in.
Arsenal on there day can pass anyone of the park, score fantastic goals and produce the football that should win silverware, but for three years now the silverware has dried up and are team is becoming weaker.
We have fantastic players, quick players and intelligent players, but we lack so much physical strength, in midfield and at the back its untrue.
I beleive that are young players will grow up to become superb individuals but we need to purchase at least 3 players who can grab the game by the scruff of its neck and win ugly. We get bullied to much and it's time for us to learn how to win ugly again.

In my opinion Arsene Wenger is the best manager I have ever seen. He always manages to find the best players and pay the least for them. I don't understand why you think you "need" more players? to do what? Win the league? They won't win the league and there's nothing they could do to win it. They;d have to get about 15 new players probably. 4th best is still good though isn't it?

Cliff notes: I don't understand why fans support football clubs.

Dude i cant disagree with you anymore! The team is fine! We need a decent captain who can raise the heads of the players when:

    a) they are infront and they keep focused - Look at how the players were so lazy when we were 4-2 in front of Spurs

    b) To grind out 1-0 wins when we need them

    c) To raise morale. Henry was one of the funniest captains ever! Just check out a few of these clips. Stuff like this boosts the team

I agree that would be nice. However we play with alot of flair. Hence we are a better European squad. Are game is more about passing the ball and creating chances. We dont really need a massive physical presence IMO

Agree with Walty. I like Arsenal and I don't care where they come because I'm not one of the stupid fucks who supports Premiership football. None of the players in the team are even from London, even less from around the Arsenal area. So what is the point in supporting them at all?

    Default End of..........

If your mum told you that there was a season ticket in your Christmas stocking, would you be more thrilled if it turned out to be:
    1. Stoke City?
    2. Arsenal?

    End of, IMHO

You need players that won't fall over when it gets windy.
