Hi, just wondering if anyone could help me out here?
I've had a betfair account for a while, and accumalated a fair amount on it. However, my old debit card was damaged and I registered my replacent card. Didn't think nothing of it and went to withdraw half of my money, only to have my account completely suspended because my card has not been validated Been in touch and they keep sending me the same 'copy and paste job' about sending them documentation -a bank statement reflecting a transaction to betfair within the last three months. Firstly, I ain't deposited money in the last 3 months and also, I have the same bank account which only shows the account number and sort code, not the long number and expiry date which you give to betfair to register a card. Surely it is obvious that it is a replacement card and sending them photo ID and a bank statement is pointless!! Fucking twats they are! |

Once you send them what they have asked for you will get your money, lots of sites have started to do this recently and although it is a bit of a hassle, its there to protect you.

I had this problem with betfair - my old card had got nicked, and i won a freeroll so wanted to withdraw - they let me register a new card, but had to send driving licence photo before letting me withdraw (also think i had to make a deposit on new card before withfrawing), but as Trustme says once i supplied the necessary it went through no problems.

I have seen many other people facing this problem, but usually it is resolved after a few days and up to a couple of weeks.
No betting in the mean time though. |
