The sooner Chelsea are out the better for everyone except the real Chelsea fans and as they number about 10,000 and the rest are glory hunters who have no idea about football or the history of the game.Originally Posted by g4mble

Ask an average Chelsea fan who Mathew Harding was most have no idea.
Chelsea are now a vile club.
I'm going with Manchester United, and the strong position of the team in Group F may bring us a surprise.
Man U because they have Gary Neville. End Of.

My vote: Lyon, though I would love to see another English team win it. I don't mind which, any of them will do and all are capable of it. Lyon are the only team to have won the first 4 games, in a fairly strong group (I would usually rate Kiev but they have sucked badly). I'm more interested in good draws at the moment though. Would love to see:
Barcelona vs. either ManU or Liverpool, cos we havent seen either of these combos recently. I actually think Liverpool could handle them and ManU might fall to them.
Real Madrid vs. Chelsea- should be a classic, if not, another Real-ManU match would be legendary what with Becks and Nistelrooy now over there.
Celtic against an English team- it's got to happen, and we will win.
Inter vs. Milan is usually pretty boring as all italian football is, hopefully these two won't get paired. Arsenal vs. Milan would be good too.
Porto vs. Chelsea would be good for obvious reasons. I'm hoping Porto and Arsenal go through in that group, can't believe CSKA dodged another deserved thrashing today, they don't deserve to qualify let alone top the group: they've only scored two goals!
Another Chelsea vs. Barcelona or Chelsea vs. Liverpool reunion would be immense. Most of these combos seem to involve Chelsea it seems so not all of them can happen. Lyon vs. Munich could be good too, both great sides.

Manchester United are the team to follow this season, especially in the premiership.
Chelsea have world class players, but not a world class 'team'.
WoW! Isnt that just the t-total perfect statement about Chelsea? How do they manage that any way? Such great talent, no class and could go so much further if they were a world class 'team'.Originally Posted by jjh
