    Default World cup top scorer

Interesting one this. All the big names are currently out of sorts, and with France still not up to much, Henry could also be discounted.

    My big-odds bets are:

    Toni (ITA) around 20's
    Pauleta (POR) around 40's
Ibrahimovic (SWE) NAP at 70's, Sweden are big scorers
    Zurawski (POL) at 130's

All worth a nibble IMO on betfair. A early few goals will see odds slashed, and laying off for an early profit.

    Any views?

the best way to do this in my opinion is to find the group with the weakest teams and see if the strongest team in that group has a dominant scorer, take a price on him if its high then lay it after he gets a hat trick against the minnows

pauleta looks good for top scorer and a side bet on torres wouldnt be a total waste of cash.....maybe the spanish might actually come good for once!!

had to see past fonseca for mexico, especially with pardo behind him, might be an early leader but i cant see mexico getting far enough for any of their players to be top scorer overall

Top goal scorer i wil have a little dabble on kohler around 110/1 on betfair
kuyt for the dutch. but will have a few small bets at big prices.

Dont really fancy sweden to do well at all and be suprised they make it past the group stages.

to be honest borgetti villa and torres are all capableof gettin 4 in the group stages with the shit groups they are in and if that is the case then we all know that 5 goals normally is good enough to win it!!

lampard may be a good bet if england do well and if he learns how to take a penalty!!!
