    VBookie Event cheltenham festival

my favourite jump meeting of the year is back again with some great races lined up, so for the next 4 days i'm gonna try and be a champion tipster!!!

the evening before i'll post 2 horses i think are worth a little flutter the next day and hopefully you'll be a little richer at the end of the week!!

the gold cup on friday promises to be a very hot race and i've already been given 2 seperate tips for the same horse....unfortunately my gut instinct tells me to back another horse so we'll wait and see closer to the day!!

if you think you can find a horse to beat my main selection then i might consider making a match bet for a few vchips or even offering you an outright price if your really confident!!

    see you at the races!!!!

    I'm up for that Prowler

Wan't to do it for 100 vchips, anyone else interested?

Shall we say you have a starting balance of 100, at least one, and no more than 3 selections a day? Everyone has to post following days' selection by 10pm the previous day??

I'll happily add up the scores over the week and post a daily update.

Not much interests me tomorrow, but i'll be having an E/W nibble with my bet

my first tip for what looks to be a very difficult days racing has got to be SWEET WAKE in the first race of the day (2.00 cheltenham) good form, excellent trainer jockey combination and a decent price considering how well he ran in his first race (11-4 corals is the best i've seen)

it looks like a big day for the irish with lots of strong claims in most races, accordion etoile (2.35) hardy eustace (3.15) and good step/native jack (4.40) all have chances and the french raiders, foreman (2.35) and moulin riche (4.00) both have the form to win, especially the latter who will be carrying a few quid of mine over the sticks (4-1 at most bookies)

for the english supporters racing demon (2.35) and brave inca (3.15) are 2 that are expected to win although the going might not be soft enough for racing demon

and finally for each way backers my 2nd tip is ROSECLIFF (5.20 cheltenham) who ran a lovely race at ludlow last time out coming from off the pace to win by 2 1/2 lengths (12-1 corals best price)

we're running a 100 point system......you start with 100 and at the end of the week whoever has most wins 100vchips from the others...... so if you wanna revise the amounts on each horse for tomorrow thats fine....

AP rides are always too short. He generally doesn't do that well the bigger meetings, think i'll be laying some of his mounts...starting with Brave Inca

he didnt have a single winner last year!! i do think brave inca has a great chance though...can only see hardy eustace beating him if he's back to his best and the first 2 races haven't gone according to plan so who knows whats gonna happen!!
