Penn is a perfect 7-0 SU inside the Ivy League, but it may be a lot to ask to give this many points on the road vs. a team that has given the Quakers difficulty in the past. Yes Columbia has been the inferior squad in this match-up for quite some time, yet the Lions have risen their level of play vs. the Quakers and have somehow managed to go 8-2 ATS in the last 10 head-to-head meetings! They were able to hang within eight points in an 80-72 loss to Penn here in Columbia last season, and we would not be shocked by a similar margin tonight, which would be well inside this bloated number. Besides, one has to question the motivation for Penn here playing an obviously weaker team while having a stranglehold on the Ivy League title. Yes the Quakers are 5-2 SU on the road, but their average winning road margin of +7.4 points is nowhere near this big number. While we do expect the Quakers to remain unbeaten in the conference when this game is over, we feel that they will have a much tougher time than a lot of people think and emerge victorious by just single-digits.
