w Orleans vs. Troy State, Take New Orleans Privateers

New Orleans has been very dangerous in this road underdog role as of late, and we will back them here at what looks like a rather big number. Yes the Privateers are just 5-14 SU and 8-10 ATS on the season, but remember that this team started the year 0-6 both SU and ATS! That means that New Orleans is an excellent 8-4, 66.7 percent ATS since that abysmal start, and the Privateers are a sparkling 5-1 ATS as a road underdog during this time. Finally, one of the five Privateer SU wins this season came vs. this Troy State team in New Orleans last month. Besides, what exactly has Troy done to be favored by this much? The Trojans are just 8-11 SU and 5-7 ATS overall, and while they are 5-2 SU at home, three of those wins came vs. non-lined opponents. They are a nondescript 2-2 ATS in their lined home affairs, and they just lost outright in this building 73-66 to Arkansas Little Rock as a 5-point favorite last Saturday. This is not a team that blows anybody out, and we feel tonight will be no exception.

Pacific vs. California State - Fullerton, Take Pacific Tigers

Pacific takes a five game win streak into CS-Fullerton as the underdog, and will walk away the victor in the end, when the two square off Thursday night in a nationally televised Big West matchup. The Tigers have nine of their last 11 contests, and are currently in sole possession of second place in the conference standings behind UC Irvine. At the same time, Fullerton (10-9, 3-6 Big West) has lost five of its last seven, and is just one loss away from falling to sixth place in the crowded Big West standings. Unfortunately, that's exactly where they'll find themselves after the Tigers prove the oddsmakers wrong, winning this one outright.
