might risk a 2.50 ew on the grand national, that would be it. know someone that was a good player who has moved onto horses. he's making a fortune. best way (although the returns are usually slight) is arbitage betting.

Im interested in horses and like to read form and test my judgement but dont bet big or regular by any means.

I may have a bet on the horses every now and then but only the odd few quid each way and its ususlly when im waiting for a machine on a saturday.

Football though is another matter. I do like to have an interest bet on the football both midweek and on a weekend. Usually a £20 double or similar.

Whilst i do show an interest in other types of gambling i cannot rely on either of them to bring in a regular 2nd income like the machines.

CFDU the guy in the paper did the scoop6 and lost on the last race when his horse was dq'd. (First past the post does not apply to Scoop6)

He was therefore returned the placepot value only. £90ish.

i do the horses most saturdays, but only spend small amounts on them, maybe £25 for the full day. what ever else you do on a saturday afternoon prob costs the same so i thinks its well worth the loss for the excitment you get. dont normally come out of the bookies too badly, tho i wont pretend i make a profit, it does seem that lately ive been getting some good winners, specially following "fallon".

    FALLON???????

I hate the way he goes about his business, He wins when he feels like it!
Horse racing is corrupt and i think everybody who follows it can see that.......some maybe dont like to admit it though.

You should all try the greyhounds instead thats good fun. Not as corrupt as horses and you can make a mint at the local races if your in the know.

    Not as corrupt as horses?

You must be joking. There is more conspiracy in english greyhound racing than the Italian Mafia.
