    Default abit of help please?

    Hi all,

im new to this forum & to the fruit machine world so any help will be appreciated

i have played them for years so thats not a problem however....

i bought 1 for myself at home, its a Maygay Cash is King, it says the hopper is empty, i managed to work out the menu's (i think) and its saying it is 125.00 short (which is the max amount im thinking?) how do i 're-fill' the hopper? alot of people have said open the door, fill it up and press the hopper refill button? another one i tried was getting it to the 'PND COUNT' option and let it count each coin i put through the slot, i did that all the way upto 125, turned the key back but still says 125.00 short.... any other ways of filling it up?

Q: hopper refill button.... the only buttons i can see is 'Hopper re-set' and hopper de-float? are one of these the hopper refill buttons?

    A?

    any help will be appreciated

    1. Open top door of machine
    2. Place £125 pound coins into hopper.
    3. With refill key turned, press the GREEN hopper top-up/reset button.
    4. "Floats reset" will appear on display. Job done.

cheers for that pal, not worked though

soon as i turn the key it says 'dump pnd float' i stil put the coins in and pressed the button, played it and still.. hopper empty.

if i try to dump pnd float by pressing the green de-float button then start nothing happens.

1 weird thing i noticed was there is 4 wires coming out of my hopper on one plug then 2 on the other, the 2 plug is all wired correctly i think as it is blue and white and it goes to blue and white, however, the one with 4 wires (3 orange 1 green) goes into a plug that has about 7/8 wires? is that right? there is no other plug that it can go into though?

it has worked at one stage just suddenly stopped so i know that hopper itself does run :s

    Cheers

At this stage I am starting to suspect a board fault. It should NOT say "dump pnd float" as soon as you turn the key. That should not come up until you press the hopper defloat button inside the cashbox. That button is not stuck is it? With the cash door only open & the refill key turned try going through the menu to "Hoppper float level" See what that says & if zero, try at this point pressing the hopper topped up button. This might work & reset the machine's float to £125. Then just put 125 coins into the hopper.
