Help needed.....machine will not pay out balance!!

Hi,i am completely new to fruit machines and recently bought a Bell fruit machine called The Game Show which i think is from the early 90's?
I knew it didnt have much money in it at the time but had a little play and won about £14.It payed out what it could,which left £6.40 balance.
I knew i wanted to reset the machine and fill it up with coins anyway before playin again so it didnt bother me,apart from the fact it seemed impossible to get it to pay the balance out so i could reset etc.
I tried filling the tubes in the back of machine which didnt work,then removing the rom card for a while and replacing it so it would reset.....which didnt work.
My next idea was to purchase a refill key for the front.Tried filling it up with approx £60 of £1 coins and 50p's and 20p's and i thought i was there,when it payed out the £6 but left the 40p.....gutted,machine will still not play.
This is probably a simple thing to remedy for you guys in the know........so any help would be appreciated....PLEASE!!

It sounds to me like the 20p tube sensor has come off the tube & the machine thinks there are no 20p coins in the tube. That is 90% guaranteed to be the problem. Very easy fix.

Cheers man.....just had a look in the back.The sensors are in place but it looks like there is just not enough 20's in there to hit the bottom one.So i'm guessing its not registering that there are any in there.
Hope thats it anyway.....find out tomorrow when i chuck a load in!

You should make sure that the level of 20p coins is well above the bottom tube sensor otherwise it will not pay out 20p coins.
