Running out of slot concepts ?

Today, when the world is so crowded with online casinos and slot machines, it is such a surprise that most of the slots look just like each other! I do not know whether they're running out of concepts or just think that if they copy, they'll be successful too.

My three most worn out slot concepts have to be these:

1. Ancient Egyptians, Cleopatra, Rameses, the Nile etc. It has been done a thousand times before! (sorry playborne!)
2. Aztecs, Incas, Montezuma etc - the golden theme
3. The leprechaun theme

I agree! I read a promotion for Le Posh Nosh the other day and it is the first 5 line slot machine which is pretty unique. The music's funky too

slot concepts do not mean a thing if the game don't pay out some good money. thats how RR is so well know not because of the B3 version but because of the S16 version that payed out very good. the new RR free spins payed out £285 and that was only 2 days old. i do take your point but i guess its not cheap bringing a new concept to market only for it to fail.

I never cease to be amazed that slot designers DO keep coming up with new concepts!
One of the leaders in this at the moment IMO is Net Entertainment, who always seem to find a new twist to add to their frequent new slot's releases.
There is one hell of a lot of variety out there on the net if you look around!

I have to laugh at the original posting, bemoaning themes, then you check out the concepts on the site and there's AZTEC, PHARAOHS and a highly original 'VEGAS' theme.
It does appear you are only missing an Irish game to have a full set....
