as of the 20 july 2011 the new rules are going to allow a new £2 stake on all B3 slots and 20% of total machines in arcades/bingo halls can be the £500 B3 type..

I do know about this but will it be enough to tempt the punters back into arcades & bingos? I think not. Not with the smoking ban, the bookies & the internet to contend with. (and also the fact money is in short supply at the moment.)
So now is the perfect time to introduce yourself to the V Bookies at the top of this forum. All bets are free! You just gamble with your v chips. Wimbledon currently trading.

i think 94%RTP on the £2 stake which i think is poor. the only way arcades are going to work is if they give better odds. if a machine not being played then its worthless if its being played daily then it will turn out a profit even if the odds are at 98%RTP @ £2 stake like the old s16 slots was.
i cant wait to see what the betting shops going to do. they could all so have £2 stake ago on there FOB slots. if they gave 94% but then up there mega spins £10 ago to 96%RTP then arcades and bingo halls will be in the past.

the one thing i don't get is how can they stop betting shop from using the new rules for B3 slots? so really its not going to help arcades or bingo halls really..i just hope they drop better bonus wins like the old s16 did on £2 ago.. like on rainbow riches if u had 4 man you would get at least £200 5 would be min £300. with £1 a go B3 u are lucky to get £40 from 4 man.
Betting shops currently get away with £2 spins as they are licensed as B2 machines which have a maximum stake of £100 a spin.

very true but its not £2 ago. know as mega spins £10 for 5 go's. they suck you in to a deal!!! but it do work out at £2 a go but iv found them to be very poor tbh..i could see the betting shops allow a £2 stake per go but then with mega spins only give you 3 go for a £10 may be with a higher % but i think thats just wish for thinking on my part lol..
any one know when the B3 £2 stake going live in arcades then???
The government is still pissing around as usual. There is a POSSIBILITY that the date MAY be 19th July but as yet no one is 100% sure. Not that I think it will make the slightest difference to the arcade/bingo venues as most people will not be able to afford £2 a spin.
