    Default percentage chips

    hiya. i have got a fruit machine called skullduggery and i want to change the percentage of the machine when i bought it there was no chip in it and the machine is set at 78%. so i bought 2 new ones and i have put one at 84% but the machine still says 78% so i then put the chip at 90% but again the machine still says 78%.

    can anyone help me out. thank taff

    It depends what the overlaying program is within the machine and who the manufacture is. I would suggest writing or trying to contact the builders and finding out how you can overide the master setting, but 78 percent i believe was governed by law as a default pay table percentage.

    Changing this, may require more than just implementing an updated microprocessor, as the controls before that chip are telling it 78 percent regardless.

    Get in touch with the original manufacturer mate.

    Look at the mainboard, there's a row of switches(dips) on switch bank 1 try switching numbers 1,2,3 and 4 on (which from memory is 98%)- you should see a difference( don't try the other 5,6,7,8 or you will change the stakes and jackpots) to be safe jot down the original settings first, then you can, by using different combinations of the 1,2,3,4 switches you should find the ideal % - good luck mate.

    hiya. when i logged on i seen 2 replys one from you and one from captain haddock so i wrote the makers name down so then i read captainhaddoks reply and had a look and done what he said and changed it to 86% and that has worked. but thankyou for your reply it my come in handy what you said so thanks again taff

    hiya done what you said could not find at first but found it in end and i changed the settings to 86% and bingo done. so thanks very much for you help hope you win the lottery 2 winners you and me. thanks again taff
