Deal or No Deals, all versions of them, have elements designed for the pro and casual punter, agreed. But to say pros don't like them ... these machines are bread and butter for pros.
It''s not so much the obvious 'tells' that reveal where in the cycle the machine is at - which obviously I won't reveal here - but those extra little tricks (and there's one still active involving a cancel button [what is it with cancel buttons? always involved in some little trick]).
Yeah, sure, there is the concession to the casual punter: the CoB and GATW that pops up from time to time: but DoND machine are manna from heaven to pros.
Yes, the real money out there is currently made from £500 jackpots (with gamble), video £70 variants and the genuine skillstops on the £70ers (e.g. the one pure skill on Aliens £70 that I won't reveal [increasingly rechipped - mind you, you've got to have fast reflexes to get the jpot]). And Barcrest £70ers (like Rainbow Riches etc) are very flat profiled and easy to read within a fiver.
But, c'mon, DoNDs are the best for pros. So easy read the regular cycle. 20 - 20 - 70 without the tricks. (in fact 20 - 20 - 70 is a prerequisite of many machine cycles)
Final tip for casual punter - if you see a fruity with sticky buttons (usally Collect), don't touch it, it's been emptied, and it tells fellow tricksters to leave alone. A bit like leaving a scent, if you will. Thanks J for that tip!
Good luck everyone, and I repeat my advice; if you're a casual punter you may hit lucky, but a lot less than before (when the £35 jackpots were around). Good luck pros, there's a lot of decent stuff out there, I've nothing against you! And you'll fnd I don't reveal the latest tricks; the ones I've hinted at in this post are quite widely known anyway, but the DoND cancel is erm, very active shall we say (not the old one of a few month's back which someone decided to youtube... doh). Nuff said.
