Turn Yourself Into A Fruit Machine

Bizarre I know, but it is possible to play a fruit machine via email when you are bored at work.

This is what we do. Get 3 friends, or multiples of 3 friends. Everyone has pictures of every symbol of your favourite 3 reel machine in their PC waiting. You then take it in turns to 'be' the fruit machine which means you also get to keep the profit or bear the loss (only play with those you trust).

If it is your turn to 'be' the fruit machine you send out an email to the other 3 people which simply says START in the header. They have 60 seconds to respond with a picture of a symbol. When all 3 emails are returned you have 3 symbols that have been sent. This is the win line. Order them in the order they arrived.

If one person does not respond in the timeframe the game is void. A timeframe is required to stop people ringing each other and rigging the 'reels'.

You can also nudge. We play that you can send 3 emails per 30 minutes with the word NUDGE in them. They must respond with another 3 symbols. You can then change the win line and incorporate these nudge symbols.

Works for us anyway.
